The end of the year is swiftly approaching and without holding back. This once again goes to show you that if you don’t do anything, time will not wait on you. So I am asking this question to see how you are going to end this year.
Are you any closer to your intended goal? Ok, let’s back up a bit here; did you set any goal for the year? It will be a sad thing if you did not. Well that’s another story for another time. I really hope I don’t have to go that way with you though.
So as I was saying, are you any closer to your intended goal? Have you made any progress, this year as it comes to a close? Can you see a difference in any area of your life from the year began until now? Do you have anything to celebrate or thank God for? Now 365 days may seem like much but you should have a least one good thing to say as this year is about to end.
There are so many ways to look at this, but I will leave it up to you to see what you come up with. Sometimes it is just a matter of stopping and meditating long enough to notice that something has changed. Well let me just remind you that you should not be living just to exist but rather to live.
To live means to enjoy life to its fullest. So as you end the year it should never be a sad occasion for you. Now my condolences to you if you have lost a loved one and may God strengthen you in this time of your recent loss.
Other than that, it should be a joy to reach this far for you, why? Let’s see, you made it further that many persons as they were not able to see it this far. Others may have made it this far but they had some bad experience and gave up on their dream, but you decided to hang in there. What about those who made some bad decisions this year, and it cost them in the end for their choice?
So whether you have seen a difference or change yet in this year as you are reading this. I do hope and believe that it will challenge you to change and better yourself. You only see another day, week, month or year to improve on the next one.
Let’s look at what is going on in the world of technology, Samsung, Apple, Microsoft and the like all seek to be better in the next product or device that they introduce to the world. At the end of the day they intend to make your life better. Whether that is, make it easy, faster, or be more productive then that is a mission accomplished moment for them.
So the same way God expects you to live as an individual. Whether that is to, help the people in your family, neighborhood, community, state or throughout the nation. What I am saying is that there should some difference seen.
Regardless of whether you see it or not someone should be saying they are so glad and appreciate you. I believe my assignment was to just be a reminder to you to live on purpose and not to just exist. So I thank you for your time of reading this.
So be encouraged and whatever dream you had for this year and however your year ended, keep dreaming. Dream bigger, do more, enjoy life, appreciate each day and praise God for all the days of your life.
