In light of the negative things being said about fathers, there are some that are doing their part to represent fatherhood. It is to them that we must support and appreciate their effort. Here is a poem below to encourage and give hope.
No More Deadbeat Dads
If God is your Father, let me hear you say yea,
Who else could take care of you, me and the atmosphere?
And so I address every father trying to go the right route,
Whether you‘re single or you gatta spouse.
A man’s gat to do what a man’s gat to do,
But a real father, asks “God what shall I do?”
I see mothers walking around and children looking sad,
Because of the actions of a deadbeat dad.
Oh no, don’t need no more of them around here,
Any father connected to God must be aware.
That he needs to put some things in place,
In order to save himself from parental disgrace.
The next time a child asks “Anybody see my Daddy?”
See daddy here, as your actions will show this father ready.
All children want to see good fathers,
The key to putting smiles on the face of mothers.
They want to be able to share stories of what daddy did for them,
As they look forward to seeing every weekend.
The most important factor in a father’s life,
Is a relationship with the one who makes wrong things right.
This assignment is too great to do on your own,
You will need help from others, especially the one on the throne.
A father’s devotional life must be strong,
If everyone in his house gonna sing the same song.
Every father needs one, that’s a vision and a plan to lead,
This is the best and effective way to succeed.
When children see their father leading the right way,
They have dreams for tomorrow and dreams for today.
How much better will your children life be?
When they are comfortable as you say children follow me.
Yes there will be obstacles standing in your way,
But if you want it bad enough you will tell the devil “In my house you can’t stay.”
Often times we get consumed with the busyness of today,
But time with your kids don’t let it slip away.
You’re more than the man for today or man of the hour,
God has blessed your whole life with power.
Go ahead father and build your empire,
And let your children rise up and say “That’s My Daddy who I admire.”
